Over the last two decades, we've been fortunate enough to work with companies who liked our software engineers so much that they told other companies about them. As a result, much of X-Team's growth has come through word-of-mouth referrals. We want to reward that.
Introducing the X-Team referral program.
It's simple. There are two steps:
- Email someone you know who could make good use of X-Team's software engineers and cc engage@x-team.com (👈 click the email for a template you can use). If you have an X-Team account manager, include them in the email too.
- Create an account here to claim your rewards. Use the same email address to create the account as the one you sent the referral email with.
And that's it! You got the ball rolling and are now enrolled in our referral program. There are three levels that each come with increasingly epic rewards. Click below to get things going 👇.
Level 1: The Coin
If you sent an email to someone you think could use an experienced team of engineers and added engage@x-team.com in cc, you're already on level 1. For every email you send, you receive one coin over here that you can exchange for one of thirty-six incredible level 1 rewards. These coins stack, so five emails means five coins means five awesome X-Team collectibles.
Disclaimer: If you've sent a referral email and don't immediately see the coins in your account yet, don't worry. It takes a little while before they tumble from X-Team's account into yours. But they're on their way! The same goes for the stars and trophies of level 2 and level 3 below.
Level 2: The Star
You don't have to do anything to get to the next level. When a company you referred has a meeting with us, you're automatically on level 2. You'll still have your coins from level 1, but now you'll receive a star too. You can exchange the star for one of thirty-two unique level 2 rewards. Stars stack just as coins do, so the more meetings we schedule through your referrals, the more stars you earn.
Level 3: The Trophy
We're in the big leagues now. When someone you referred decides to hire one or more X-Team software engineers, you receive a trophy that you can exchange for a custom level 3 reward. We'll be in touch to understand what you'd like as a reward, but examples include:
- A luxury team lunch
- A PS5 and PlayStation VR headset
- A flight voucher to anywhere in the world
So all you need to do is email a contact and cc engage@x-team.com as well as your account manager. To make it even easier, here's a template you can use in your email:
Hello [Name],
I know you've been looking to hire engineers for some of your projects. We've been working with X-Team: They source experienced engineers from around the world who are familiar with most industries and technologies. Their clients include Riot Games, Rolling Stone, Fox, Coinbase, Wall Street Journal, and many others. They've been great for us, and I thought you might want to give them a look too.

Feel free to change the template and put things in your own words. But once those emails are sent, you're on level 1 and can claim your first rewards.
